Family Coven is a place to find ideas, inspiration, and community about the different ways we can celebrate the Wheel Of The Year and share that connection to the seasons of nature with our kids, our families, and our friends.
I’m also sharing healing and self-improvement tarot and moon cycle work for mothers. As mothers, we are the keepers of our family’s spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. The more connected we are with the cycles of nature, the more we will be in tune with ourselves and the power that each season gives us to hold well this crucial throne in our family.
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Rebekah, a homeschooling work from home mom of two boys. Our love of nature and a desire to feel more connected to the movement and cycle of the seasons brought me to paganism and to incorporating the Wheel Of The Year into our home.
One of the first things I noticed when I started celebrating the wheel of the year was that my kids’ participation came very naturally. I believe this is because we are all a part of nature, but kids are even closer to it and they feel its rhythms more intuitively. They haven’t yet been bogged down with a lot of the things that cloud our sense of connections and natural rhythms.
If you are just beginning to celebrate the wheel of the year and the changing seasons with your kids and in your home, I think you will find it becomes a part of your everyday lives very naturally.
I’d also like to mention here that while I identify as a Pagan, all are welcome here. I believe anyone can enrich their lives by being more connected to the natural flow and changes of the seasons. By reflecting on how these seasonal and lunar changes affect us, we can use what we understand to improve ourselves through intuitive introspection.
Here on Family Coven, you’ll find all kinds of ways to bring the celebration and connections of the changing seasons into your home and share it with family and friends.
- You’ll find traditional and modern takes on celebrating the sabbats, working with tarot, and setting intentions with moon cycles.
- We’re sharing recipes, crafts, decor, and rituals that we use, and we think you’ll enjoy using, too, in your home.
- We also have recently added our shop where my kids and I create designs for clothes and home, as well as digital downloads like wall art and planners.
I hope what I share enhances you and your family’s connection with each other and with nature and its rhythms.
